Akasas organization, recently organized a life-saving blood transfusion for Miss Sinduja Gantyada, a courageous 15-year-old girl undergoing treatment at Simhagiri Hospital. Sinduja is battling Pure Red Cell Aplasia (PRCA), a condition that impairs her body's ability to produce red blood cells. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Akasas and the medical team at Simhagiri Hospital, Sinduja received the crucial blood she needed to replenish her red blood cell count, restoring her strength and vitality.
Sinduja's journey has been challenging, but her determined father, an auto driver in Vizag's Gajuwaka area, has been a pillar of support. Despite financial constraints, he has remained unwavering in his dedication to his daughter's well-being. Alongside the blood transfusion, Sinduja and her family received counseling on the possibility of a future bone marrow transplant, offering them hope for a potential cure. The counseling has empowered them with knowledge and confidence as they face the road ahead with resilience and optimism. Through the compassionate support of Akasas, Simhagiri Hospital, and the medical professionals involved, Sinduja and her family have found solace and the belief that they are not alone in their fight against PRCA.
Special mention goes to Kiran for bringing this cause to the attention of Akasas organization. Kiran's efforts were instrumental in initiating the support and arranging the blood transfusion for Miss Sinduja.
